TreeBid privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026

TreeBid is made by Deep Roots Tech LLC. It turns photos and video of your trees into a bid from a tree service company. This policy explains what the app collects and why.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address, and the property address for the job.
  • Photos and video you take or attach of your trees, including the sound on walk-around videos.
  • Location: while you use the app, to pin the property and pull an aerial image of it.
  • Motion: step counts and phone tilt during capture, to measure distance and tree height. These readings are used for the measurement only.

How we use it

To scope and price your job. Photos and video may be processed by an AI service to draft the scope of work, and the property location is sent to a mapping service to get the aerial image. The tree company reviewing your request (currently Deep Roots Services) sees your request so it can bid and contact you.

Who we share it with

The tree company handling your request, and service providers that run the app for us: our database provider (Supabase), the AI and mapping services above, and Stripe if you pay through the app. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Deleting your data

Delete your account in the app under Account, or email us. Your account, requests, photos and video are removed.

Children

TreeBid is for adults arranging tree work and isn’t meant for children.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts collecting something new, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you.
