Software that runs the work behind your business

Off-the-shelf software makes you work its way. We build tools around the way your crew already works: estimates, job tickets, schedules, equipment records and customer requests, all in one place you can reach from your phone.

What we build

Tools for the trades and small businesses

Estimating and quoting

Customers send guided photos and video. Your team gets a scoped job with the work, hazards, tools and time to price it.

Equipment and fleet maintenance

Service due by date, mileage or engine hours, reminders before it’s due and a full history for every machine.

Job tickets and crew scheduling

Who’s going where, what to bring and what to do when they get there, on every crew member’s phone.

Customer request portals

One place for customers to request work, send photos, approve quotes and see where their job stands.

Dashboards and reports

The numbers you check every week, pulled together automatically instead of by hand.

Connecting what you use

Payments, email, calendars and spreadsheets, linked so information only gets entered once.

Why us

Built by people who do field work

Deep Roots Tech grew out of Deep Roots Services, a working field-service business. Our own tools, like TreeBid for tree trimming estimates and Maintenance for equipment records, started as answers to problems we had on real jobs. We build business software the same way: for the person standing in the yard with a phone, not the person behind a desk.

Our work

Apps we’ve built

Every one of these was designed and built by Deep Roots Tech.

TreeBid

In development

Homeowners take guided, measured photos and video of their trees. Tree companies get a scoped job with the work, tools, hazards and time to price it. Requests go to Deep Roots Services first.

Maintenance

In final testing

Tracks service for tools, vehicles and heavy equipment by date, mileage and engine hours. Snap the meter, log the work, and share the history with family or your crew.

Questions

Common questions

We use paper forms and spreadsheets. Is that a problem?

No, that’s a great starting point. Your forms show us exactly what information matters and in what order. We turn them into something faster, not something different.

Can it work for just one company, or be sold to others?

Either. Many tools start inside one business. We can design them from the beginning so they can be offered to other companies later.

Will my crew need training?

Very little. We design for people who’d rather be working than learning software, and we test with the people who’ll use it every day.

Have an idea for an app or a website?

Tell us what you have in mind. You’ll get a straight answer about what it takes, usually within two business days.
