TasteShare privacy policy

TasteShare is made by Deep Roots Tech LLC. This policy explains what the app collects and why.

What we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, or the details Apple shares when you use Sign in with Apple.
• Your orders: the restaurants, orders, customizations, allergies, notes and photos you save.
• Location: only while you use the app and only if you allow it, to find nearby restaurants and fill in their address. We don’t keep a history of where you’ve been.
• Contacts: only the contact you pick when you invite a friend. We don’t upload your address book.

How we use it

To run the app: backing up your orders, keeping them in step across your devices, and sharing them with the friends you choose. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Your orders are private unless you share them. Friends you share with can see the orders you share. Your data is stored with our database provider (Supabase), which may only use it to run the service for us.

Deleting your data

Delete your account in the app under Account › Delete Account, or email us. Your account and saved orders are removed.

Children

TasteShare isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts collecting something new, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches you.
